Insights Director

About the role

The Insights Director will lead measurement, analytics and commercial insight for a fast‑growing retail media business. Based in Leeds/Bradford with a hybrid schedule (two days a week in the office), the role reports to senior leadership and drives data‑led ROI for key retail partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute insight and measurement strategy across major retail media partnerships.
• Analyse campaign performance to drive ROI growth and identify incremental investment opportunities.
• Leverage first‑party data to uncover commercial insights and support strategic decisions.
• Manage, mentor and develop a high‑performing insight team.
• Translate complex data into compelling commercial narratives for senior stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, retailers and internal teams.
• Champion operational excellence, automation and innovation in evaluation and measurement functions.
• Develop insight propositions that demonstrate the value of retail media and support commercial growth.

Required profile

• Strong background in insights, analytics, measurement or retail media.
• Proven experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with excellent storytelling ability.
• Ability to turn complex analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Retail or agency experience is a plus.
• Resilient, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
