Installation Manager (Solar & Battery)

About the role

This position is for a qualified electrician with solar experience who wants to move from the tools into a first‑line management role. Based in Dartford, you will oversee residential solar and battery installations across the South East, coordinating schedules, teams and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and deliver residential solar and battery projects from start to finish.
• Liaise with customers, installation partners and internal teams to ensure a smooth, high‑quality service.
• Monitor project progress, manage on‑site issues and maintain health & safety standards.
• Report status and performance metrics to senior management.
• Support and mentor installation crews as they transition to new technologies.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with hands‑on solar installation experience.
• Motivated to step into a leadership position and manage teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Based within commuting distance of Dartford and willing to travel across the South East.
