Instore Visual Merchandiser

About the role

Coventry City FC is looking for an experienced and creative Instore Visual Merchandiser to join its retail team at Coventry Football Stadium. The successful candidate maintains high visual standards, creates engaging merchandise displays and helps deliver a first-class retail experience for supporters. It is a full-time position with a 7-day trading week, including weekends and matchdays.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and continuously improve in-store visual merchandising displays in line with company guidelines.
• Keep store presentation, cleanliness and visual appeal at a high standard at all times.
• Implement floor plans so products are displayed to maximise commercial opportunities.
• Monitor sales trends and adapt displays proactively to drive performance and meet customer demand.
• Maintain stock replenishment and ensure merchandise is presented correctly and consistently.
• Support promotional activity, seasonal launches and special events, including matchdays.
• Train, coach and develop team members on visual merchandising standards and best practices, and support colleagues in applying store standards.
• Work with management to identify ways to improve store performance and customer experience.

Required profile

• At least 18 months' experience as an Instore Visual Merchandiser in fashion, sports fashion or a similar retail environment.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to react quickly to sales trends and business needs.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, able to influence and engage colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Desirable: previous team leader, supervisor or senior retail experience, experience training and coaching retail colleagues, and a passion for fashion, sports fashion and current retail trends.

The role is onsite at Coventry Football Stadium. An enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
