Insurance Solicitor – 6+ Years PQE – London

About the role

Join a nationally recognised specialty team advising leading London market insurers and reinsurers on complex, high‑value and international insurance disputes. You will manage a varied caseload, providing strategic advice on policy coverage, indemnity, liability and reinsurance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high‑value insurance dispute cases from inception to resolution.
• Advise clients on policy coverage, indemnity, liability and reinsurance issues.
• Coordinate with foreign local counsel on international matters.
• Maintain and develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE.
• Strong experience in insurance litigation, policy coverage and defence work.
• Essential reinsurance experience and solid understanding of the London market ecosystem.
• Excellent technical drafting, analytical abilities and commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and supervise junior staff.
