Intellectual Property Legal Counsel

About the role

Revolut is seeking a forward‑thinking Legal Counsel to lead its global intellectual property (IP) strategy. You will work in a lean, high‑impact team, partnering with product, engineering and business units to protect and grow Revolut’s IP portfolio while enabling rapid product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively register and manage Revolut’s global IP portfolio.
• Mitigate risks and handle IP infringement claims, including defensive strategies.
• Provide legal guidance across business units to ensure products are cleared for launch.
• Manage pre‑dispute matters and lead active litigation in the UK and international markets.
• Advise on novel technological products, crafting creative legal solutions.
• Act as a business partner, finding compliant pathways rather than blocking innovation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Demonstrated expertise in IP registration, infringement claims, and defensive strategies.
• Experience handling IP matters across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK and other global markets.
• Solution‑oriented mindset capable of navigating legal blockers to achieve business goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced technology environment.
• Fluency in English.
