Intelligent Automation Engineering Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Intelligent Automation Engineering Lead to accelerate AI adoption across Delta Capita’s engineering teams and client environments. The role provides technical leadership, guidance and support to design, deliver and scale AI‑enabled solutions in cloud‑native, enterprise settings.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to identify, assess and deliver AI and automation opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance on Generative AI, AI Agents, LLMs, prompt engineering and emerging AI technologies.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the AI solution lifecycle, reviewing designs for scalability, security and operational resilience.
• Support teams working with Python, Azure, AWS and enterprise applications, and promote best‑practice SDLC and governance frameworks.
• Drive knowledge sharing, evaluate emerging technologies and help define reusable patterns for AI delivery.

Required profile

• Strong background in software, platform or cloud engineering, solutions architecture or technical consulting.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑grade solutions in large‑scale environments.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI concepts such as AI agents, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG and responsible AI.
• Experience supporting full SDLC, Agile delivery and cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
