Intensive Support Worker – Complex Lives

About the role

We are seeking an Intensive Support Worker to join Depaul’s Complex Lives team in Belfast. You will act as a trusted key worker, coordinating wrap‑around support plans for individuals with multiple, entrenched challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 7‑10 highly complex clients, delivering case management, assessment and care planning.
• Facilitate multi‑agency meetings, MDT sessions and key‑worker appointments to develop and review support plans.
• Support service users to engage with health, housing and addiction services, stabilise their situation and move into sustainable accommodation.
• Maintain accurate client records, incident reports and contribute to internal and external reporting.
• Identify innovative interventions, monitor progress and report to the Complex Lives MDT, escalating issues when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a social care field (e.g., A‑Levels, health and social care diploma).
• At least two years paid experience working with vulnerable groups.
• Full driving licence with access to an insured car for business travel.
• Willingness to travel locally and undergo an Enhanced Access NI check.
• Eligibility for NISCC registration (to be completed within probation if not already held).
