Interim Finance Analyst – Manufacturing (Hybrid)

About the role

The company is seeking an Interim Finance Analyst to support its manufacturing site during a period of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Site Finance Manager, you will provide accurate financial reporting and commercial insight to enhance operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce weekly and monthly operational performance reports, including production variances, yields and overhead analysis.
• Partner with manufacturing, planning and supply chain teams to improve financial awareness and decision‑making.
• Investigate production and cost variances, identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of production, inventory and financial data across multiple systems.
• Support month‑end activities such as reconciliations, accruals and reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive stronger financial controls and support process optimisation across the site.

Required profile

• CIMA or ACCA qualification.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG or a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel knowledge.
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Ability to build relationships with finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, inquisitive and comfortable challenging processes.
