Interim Finance Director – Tech Platform (9‑Month FTC)

About the role

The client, a fast‑growing tech‑enabled international services platform, seeks an Interim Finance Director for a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting directly to the Board, you will lead the global finance function across multiple entities and jurisdictions during a period of rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly management reporting cycle and deliver accurate financial information to the Board.
• Prepare consolidated group reports, forecasts, cash‑flow analysis and key performance metrics.
• Maintain robust financial controls, processes and governance across all entities.
• Lead statutory accounting, audit, tax and compliance activities, coordinating with external advisors.
• Manage treasury operations, banking relationships and cash management, including multi‑currency accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on pricing, commercial initiatives, operational performance and strategic growth plans.
• Develop and lead a distributed international finance team, overseeing internal and outsourced resources.
• Support systems improvements, process automation and finance transformation projects.
• Provide finance leadership for new market launches, business integrations and other strategic projects.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance or Financial Controller.
• Extensive experience managing finance functions in multi‑entity, international environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior leadership.
