Interim Finance Manager

About the role

This interim position offers the chance to join a fast‑growing, internationally recognised software business. Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior stakeholders, you will lead management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis while supporting the rollout of a new financial planning system.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly management reports, KPI dashboards and performance analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Manage cost reporting across multiple departments.
• Develop financial models and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
• Perform variance analysis and provide commercial recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support implementation and ongoing development of the financial planning platform.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and enhanced reporting processes.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong background in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Experience in the technology/software industry.
• Confident partner with senior stakeholders and able to influence business decisions.
• Highly organised with excellent communication and presentation skills.
