Interim Talent Research Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an Interim Talent Research Consultant to join a specialist executive search firm focused on investment management. You will work on live, high‑profile mandates from day one, supporting the delivery of executive and specialist searches across asset management, private markets and wealth management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed candidate research for active search assignments using proprietary databases and market intelligence tools.
• Identify, engage and assess high‑calibre professionals, producing candidate profiles and market insights.
• Support talent‑mapping projects and build pipelines for current and future mandates.
• Undertake targeted outreach and maintain ongoing candidate engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across sectors and contribute to client meetings, gradually taking on client‑facing responsibilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, executive search, talent intelligence or candidate research.
• Exposure to asset management, private markets, wealth management or related financial services.
• Strong analytical, research and written communication abilities.
• Curious about markets and people, with a commercial mindset focused on quality delivery.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
