Interior Designer

About the role

Our client, a renowned interior decorating studio known for sophisticated elegance and low‑key luxury, is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join a London‑based design team. The role involves supporting projects from enquiry through to completion, with occasional travel in the UK and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and managing residential projects from initial enquiry to handover.
• Create and modify floor plans and elevations using CAD and hand‑drawing techniques.
• Develop design schemes, source fabrics, furniture, and finishes, liaise with suppliers, and obtain samples and quotes.
• Produce presentation and sample boards.
• Draft building schedules covering paint, bathroom specifications, and all FF&E items; manage orders, deliveries and installations.
• Maintain and expand fabric and finishes libraries.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury residential interior design within the UK.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.
