Intermediate Building Surveyor – Corporate & Commercial Portfolio

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Building Surveyor to join a prestigious local authority in Oxfordshire. The role involves working on a corporate and commercial portfolio, delivering specifications, reports and condition surveys for a range of historic and modern assets. The position offers a blend of home‑based and site work on a long‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct stock condition and asset verification surveys across the portfolio.
• Prepare detailed specifications and written reports for clients and senior surveyors.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to enhance the authority’s reputation.
• Collaborate with chartered surveyors and other team members in a dynamic environment.

Required profile

• Qualified in a surveying or construction discipline (or a graduate with demonstrable knowledge).
• Proven ability to write specifications and assess building condition.
• Strong IT proficiency.

• Good IT skills.

• Competitive daily rate of £200‑£250 (CIS/self‑employed) or £52k PAYE.
