Internal Sales Account Manager

About the role

Hilti is looking for an Internal Sales Account Manager to drive consultative telephone sales across a defined construction territory in Manchester. You will use your knowledge of the trade to understand customer needs and match them with Hilti’s solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of outbound calls to build and maintain relationships with construction customers.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand the customer base and increase platform coverage.
• Maintain high‑quality data on the customer platform to support digital initiatives.
• Set and communicate clear pricing within the territory to ensure profitable growth.
• Follow up on leads, generate new business opportunities, and coordinate with field or technical teams when required.

Required profile

• Proven customer‑facing sales experience, preferably in a construction or related environment.
• Excellent telephone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong communication skills across all organisational levels.
• Self‑driven, proactive, and highly motivated to achieve targets.
• Ability to learn new products quickly and work collaboratively with internal teams.
