International Finance Leader – UK/France

About the role

BlueCrest is seeking a senior finance professional to lead Accounting across its international region. The role is office‑based in the UK or France with occasional remote work, and operates within a matrix structure, partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy, compliance and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close, safeguarding general ledger integrity and balance‑sheet accuracy.
• Ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, oversee statutory reporting, tax filings and audits.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and deliver variance analysis, KPI reporting and performance insights.
• Provide ad‑hoc modelling and analysis to support growth initiatives, profitability improvement and cost optimisation.
• Strengthen governance, internal controls, audit readiness and regulatory adherence across local country requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop regional finance teams within a global matrix organisation.
• Drive working capital, cash flow and capex/ROI discipline, improving processes and systems in partnership with shared services.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/ACA/ACCA preferred.
• Proven finance leadership experience with strong Accounting and FP&A expertise.
• Multinational, multi‑country experience and comfortable partnering with senior leaders in a matrix environment.
• Fluent in French and English.
