International Tax Associate Partner

About the role

This permanent position is for an experienced international tax professional to join a reputable company in Manchester. You will work within a diverse tax team, delivering advisory and compliance services across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advisory projects such as corporate tax compliance, restructurings, acquisition and sale structuring, tax due diligence and demergers.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Manage all tax‑related activities, including compliance, reporting and strategic planning.
• Identify business development opportunities and support the finance team to optimise tax efficiencies.
• Monitor changes in domestic and international tax legislation and advise the business accordingly.

Required profile

• Solid experience in international tax compliance and advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA or ATT/CTA.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

• Proficiency with tax software.
• Advanced use of the MS Office Suite.
