Investment Executive, Specialist Healthcare Investor

About the role

Our client is a specialist life‑sciences and healthcare private‑equity investor focused on the lower mid‑market. The Investment Executive will work alongside senior investment professionals, gaining exposure to the full deal lifecycle and contributing to value‑creation initiatives from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior investment professionals throughout all stages of the deal process, from origination to exit.
• Assist the portfolio‑management team with quarterly reporting, valuations and performance monitoring.
• Conduct market research, target identification and due‑diligence, including valuation analyses and preparation of investment‑committee papers.
• Build and review financial models, valuations and investment materials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with management teams, advisors and other key stakeholders.
• Contribute to portfolio‑company strategic projects, M&A activity and preparation for follow‑on or bolt‑on acquisitions.

Required profile

• Previous associate‑level experience in private equity, investment banking (M&A), leveraged finance or corporate finance (M&A).
• Degree in science, medicine or business, with a demonstrable passion for the healthcare sector.
• Transaction experience in healthcare and an interest in the lower mid‑market, founder‑led businesses.
• Strong analytical mindset and solid understanding of accounting principles.
