IT Account Manager

About the role

This position sits within the sales function of a fast‑growing cloud consulting and managed services firm. You will own a focused portfolio of existing and prospective customers, driving revenue growth and long‑term development across complex IT services, private cloud, data‑centre and workspace transformation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of accounts, from qualification and discovery through to commercial negotiation and post‑sale expansion.
• Develop and maintain detailed account plans, stakeholder maps and pipeline forecasts.
• Identify whitespace and growth opportunities, creating qualified opportunities through proactive engagement.
• Coordinate proposals and commercial negotiations, working closely with Strategy & Advisory, Delivery and Managed Services teams.
• Maintain accurate opportunity records in Microsoft Dynamics and ensure forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B technology sales or account management, preferably within cloud or managed services.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with infrastructure, cloud, platform, operations and procurement stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, structured and comfortable taking ownership of the full sales cycle.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) for opportunity management.
