IT, Facilities & Fleet Operations Manager

About the role

The IT, Facilities & Fleet Operations Manager will oversee Reed's technology landscape, office premises and vehicle fleet. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that systems, properties and operational services run securely, efficiently and cost‑effectively while supporting the organisation's strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the external Managed Service Provider, monitor service level agreements and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Oversee IT security, Cyber Essentials accreditation, asset management, user access controls, backups and disaster‑recovery arrangements.
• Maintain website security, performance and access controls.
• Deliver IT projects, drive systems improvements and support technology initiatives across the business.
• Ensure safe, compliant operation and maintenance of all office sites, handling contracts, leases, insurance, moves and workplace standards.
• Administer the vehicle fleet, including procurement, returns, insurance claims, fuel contracts, GPS tracking and P11D processes.
• Lead the Fleet Administrator and provide stakeholder support.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract renewals, negotiate value for money and approve invoices.
• Support budget management, collaborate with Finance and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing IT infrastructure and third‑party service providers.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security, business continuity and systems administration.
• Background in facilities, fleet and contract management.
• Excellent organisational, project and budget management abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
