IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security Engineer – 3rd Line, Cloud & AI

Key responsibilities

• Upgrade and strengthen email security.
• Manage security aspects of AI integration and tooling.
• Lead the upcoming Cyber Essentials project.
• Oversee infrastructure, security tooling, incident response, budgeting and contracting.
• Act as Tier 3 escalation point for complex technical issues.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience operating at a 3rd‑line engineer level.
• At least one cyber‑security certification.
• Hands‑on experience across roughly 80 % of the listed technologies.
• Strong infrastructure background in cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Good working knowledge of Azure, Google Workspace, networking and endpoint management.
• Experience with CrowdStrike, Cisco, VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Jamf, Intune, Automox and VPNs.
• Proven security monitoring, incident response and threat‑analysis skills.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001.
• Confidence to handle complex Tier 3 escalations.
• Willingness to work occasional out‑of‑hours and travel to London.
