IT Infrastructure Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our team on a 6‑month contract in Guildford. You will provide on‑site technical assistance, maintain local IT infrastructure, and work closely with both local and global IT groups to ensure reliable daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support to studio users, resolving hardware, software and infrastructure issues.
• Manage support tickets via the helpdesk, troubleshooting desktops, laptops, peripherals and applications.
• Assist with user onboarding and off‑boarding, including account setup, equipment provisioning and access management.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software across the studio environment.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, system configurations and support records.
• Track IT assets, manage inventory and oversee equipment lifecycle processes.
• Support server‑room activities such as monitoring, upkeep and general maintenance.
• Administer Windows client and server environments and monitor system health for uptime.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams and collaborate with global IT functions (networking, security, Linux).
• Participate in incident response, escalation and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in on‑site IT or infrastructure support.
• Strong background supporting Windows desktop environments.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Good understanding of hardware, software and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN).
• Proven ability to manage user accounts, access rights and onboarding/off‑boarding processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
