IT Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to bring structure and confidence to our technology services. Reporting to the CFO, you will own day‑to‑day IT delivery, clear a backlog of requests and ensure reliable support for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Run and continuously improve the daily IT function across the organisation.
• Manage one internal IT technician and coordinate external suppliers, MSPs and specialist partners.
• Refine ticket triage, prioritisation and communication processes.
• Provide hands‑on support for Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and core networking infrastructure.
• Oversee system updates, changes and transition of new solutions into BAU support.
• Develop and report on IT performance metrics to build user confidence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT operations or senior IT support management.
• Strong background with Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID environments.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, WAN, LAN).
• Experience managing suppliers, MSPs or contractors.
• Ability to improve IT processes, service levels and user experience.
• Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
