IT Support Engineer – Hammersmith

About the role

The company is a specialist technology business in London that builds and operates complex trading, modelling and internal engineering systems. They need an IT Support Engineer to provide hands‑on support for developers, technical users and business teams in their Hammersmith office.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑line support for hardware, software, OS and connectivity issues.
• Maintain and secure Linux and Windows workstations.
• Support office infrastructure: networking, meeting‑room equipment, printers and other critical hardware.
• Handle onboarding and off‑boarding tasks, including account setup, device provisioning, access control and asset management.
• Contribute to projects that improve reliability, security, automation and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to ensure IT keeps pace with technical standards.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting ability across desktop hardware, operating systems and common business applications.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
• Proactive attitude toward problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Hammersmith five days a week.
