IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our growing technology team in London. You will provide high‑quality first‑ and second‑line support to end users, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and services across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software and business applications.
• Manage and support the Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and user administration.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, handling account creation and access management.
• Assist with device builds, deployments and software installations.
• Track tickets through to resolution while maintaining high customer‑service standards.
• Escalate complex issues and coordinate with third‑party suppliers.
• Maintain IT documentation and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Service Desk Analyst or Desktop Support role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts such as Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with ITSM or ticketing tools.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving abilities and a proactive customer‑service mindset.
