IT Support Intern – London

About the role

This entry‑level position offers a hands‑on opportunity to join the IT team of a leading European private‑equity firm. You will provide day‑to‑day service‑desk support for the London office while gaining exposure to remote support for international sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st‑line IT support to approximately 170 London users and remote assistance to over 500 users across 11 international sites.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, log tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist the IT Service Desk Lead in maintaining service‑desk processes and documentation.
• Participate in small‑scale IT projects, infrastructure upgrades and deployment of end‑user technology.
• Support the rollout and maintenance of standard office applications and devices.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong interest in IT support and service‑desk environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small IT team.
