IT Support Lead

About the role

Parity is seeking an IT Support Lead to elevate the delivery of IT services across its remote‑first, global organisation. You will join the Operations & Culture team, manage an End User Support Engineer, act as the technical escalation point, and drive smarter, automated ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the End User Support Specialist, setting priorities and supporting growth.
• Own day‑to‑day coordination of support tickets, acting as escalation point for complex issues and ensuring permanent fixes.
• Provide hands‑on end‑user support, troubleshooting directly and modelling strong service orientation.
• Promote AI and automation across support workflows, from ticket triage to recurring processes.
• Lead IT procurement and vendor management, handling hardware purchases for globally distributed hires and monitoring vendor performance.
• Maintain reliable delivery and performance of core IT systems, ensure seamless onboarding/offboarding, and collaborate with SRE, Security, and Workplace teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in IT support or operations, including team management or mentorship.
• Comfortable using AI tools to automate workflows and eager to expand automation.
• Experience with user access management in a fast‑moving, multi‑SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WLAN logical and physical infrastructures, including switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Knowledge of Linux (desktop and server) and macOS, confident with command‑line interfaces.
• Familiarity with on‑premise server hardware and basic scripting/automation.
