IT Support Specialist Intern

About the role

Bosch is looking for an IT Support Specialist Intern for its Denham office. This is a 12-month internship starting in July 2027, open to undergraduate students eligible for a work placement as part of their university course. Interns join the BUILD programme, a mix of in-person and virtual learning sessions on topics such as effective communication.

Key responsibilities

• First and second level IT support: evaluate and resolve support requests and tickets using standard incident management tools and processes
• Support IT fleet management: install, deploy, repair, replace and return company PCs and laptops, and support mobile phone provisioning and decommissioning
• Enable and advise end users on IT products and services, and help create training material including presentations and videos
• Manage user accounts with internal tools and support IT product pilots and rollouts
• Contribute to projects such as mergers and acquisitions and office moves, and provide hands-on infrastructure support where needed
• Deliver local IT services to the business and build partnerships with customers, peers and management

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Technology or Information Technology, with a practical, hands-on focus
• Right to live and work in the UK for the full duration of the placement, and a placement directly relevant to the course
• Technologically savvy, able to use technology to improve work processes

Required skills

• Nice to have: experience with M365, MS Teams and MS Windows
• Nice to have: open-source desktop experience such as Linux, Apple iOS and MacBooks
• Nice to have: experience with AI tools such as Copilot
