IT Support Technician

About the role

Join a fast‑growing residential conveyancing PropTech company as an IT Support Technician. You will work in a dynamic office environment, supporting staff and the company’s bespoke conveyancing software while gaining exposure to emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for office equipment, meetings and training sessions.
• Support the Convey365 Portal and CMS, handling user queries and troubleshooting.
• Manage the IT Helpdesk, acting as the initial point of contact for incidents.
• Conduct IT inductions and oversee starter and leaver processes.
• Maintain IT inventory, track equipment check‑ins/outs and perform regular stock audits.
• Create user guides, hints and tips for internal applications.
• Assist with the rollout of new applications, including policy development, migrations and training.
• Perform regular audits of departmental processes and ensure documentation deadlines are met.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a fast‑paced IT support environment.
• Proven ability to support end‑users both in person and over the phone.
• Strong problem‑solving skills across software, hardware and network issues.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good time‑management and flexibility.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies.
• Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
• Networking fundamentals – IP addressing, subnets, VPNs, Wi‑Fi meshes.
• Virtual server environments.
• Linux command line (bash/terminal).
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud servers.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001 standards.
