IT Systems Administrator – South West England

About the role

Iconic Resourcing is supporting Advanta Group in hiring an IT Systems Administrator for its South West offices (Bath and Exeter). The role is newly created to support the Group’s rapid growth and acquisition strategy, offering the chance to own key Microsoft 365 services and broader infrastructure across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding of users across the Group.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online and Teams.
• Serve as the second‑line IT contact for South West offices.
• Support technology projects, roll‑outs and business‑change initiatives.
• Coordinate with external IT providers to maintain service quality.
• Assist with integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Maintain asset management, governance and operational improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Systems Administrator, 2nd‑line support or similar IT role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive attitude with ownership mindset.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.
