IT & Systems Support Engineer – Aberdeen

About the role

We are looking for an IT & Systems Support Engineer to join our Aberdeen team. The role provides first‑line technical assistance to internal users and supports a range of hardware, software and network services across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for IT support queries, escalating when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving laptops, Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, printers, and network connectivity.
• Provide support remotely, by phone and on‑site as needed.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset records and support procedures.
• Assist the company in achieving ISO 27001 accreditation.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and mailboxes in Active Directory, Exchange Online and Azure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT support or similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, Azure and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Good understanding of IT hardware, peripherals and mobile devices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
