IT Technician – Multi-Academy Trust

About the role

We are looking for an IT Technician to join a growing multi‑academy trust in Liverpool. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will support the day‑to‑day technology operations across several schools, ensuring that hardware, software and network services run smoothly for staff and pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line technical support to staff, pupils and the wider IT team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops and classroom devices.
• Maintain and configure Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Assist with network and wireless connectivity across multiple sites.
• Contribute to ongoing IT projects and the rollout of new technology.
• Build positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience providing IT support in a school, trust or college environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Proactive attitude with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
