JavaScript Application Developer (POS)

About the role

DigiTickets provides software solutions to the tourism, leisure and events industries, trusted by over 600 venues to process more than 1 million ticket sales per month. It is looking for a JavaScript Application Developer to join its Point of Sale (POS) team and help refine and improve ProPoint, its POS solution. The role is hybrid, with two days a week in the Exeter office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support ProPoint and associated applications
• Build integrations with hardware such as payment terminals and printers
• Work with a team to deliver the best client experience
• Improve structure, speed, delivery and standards, and build maintainable, efficient code
• Create reusable components
• Turn UX prototypes into designs while keeping brand consistency in the UI

Required profile

• Strong background in front-end application development and excellent attention to detail
• Existing software development experience desirable, but agency experience is also welcome
• Able to work in the Exeter office two days a week

Required skills

• Modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
• Tooling such as Webpack, Vite, Jest
• Frameworks such as Vue, React, Svelte or Angular
• Git and API consumption and building
• Relational databases and datastores
• Desirable: Node.js, Electron, PHP, responsive design and accessibility, AI-assisted development with tools such as Claude Code

• Salary up to £48,000 depending on experience
