Jewellery Refurb and Disposition Operative

About the role

We are seeking a Jewellery Refurb and Disposition Operative to join our Jewellery Centre in Rochester. The role is hands‑on and focuses on processing, classifying and moving jewellery received from over 300 retail stores. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring accurate stock flow and supporting revenue recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming jewellery through defined refurbishment, resale preparation or scrap workflows.
• Assess and classify items according to condition and quality standards.
• Perform cleaning and basic refurbishment to commercial standards after training.
• Record all stock movements and classifications in internal systems for audit compliance.
• Transfer items to internal teams and distribution channels to maintain end‑to‑end stock flow.
• Collaborate with operational and distribution teams to meet productivity and accuracy targets.
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment.
