Junior AI & Data Consultant (Edinburgh)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior AI & Data Consultant to join our Edinburgh office. You will work on cutting‑edge AI projects for clients, primarily in the financial services sector, and help build the data foundations that power advanced AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and delivering AI solutions, including Generative and Agentic AI, for client projects.
• Prepare and manage the data pipelines that feed AI models, ensuring data quality and readiness.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and engineers across AI, data, and consulting disciplines.
• Contribute to internal accelerator tools that showcase Talan’s AI capabilities.
• Participate in client engagements on‑site, working from the office at least four days a week.

Required profile

• Eager to learn and develop technical expertise in AI and data analytics.
• Strong interest in emerging AI technologies and their business applications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
