Junior Clinical Fellow – ENT (CT1 Equivalent)

About the role

This position is for a Junior Clinical Fellow (CT1 equivalent) in the ENT department of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. It is designed for junior doctors who wish to gain experience comparable to Foundation Year 2/Core Surgical Trainee year 1, supporting future applications for Core Surgical Training or other specialty pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care within the ENT service at a CT1‑equivalent level.
• Work alongside F2/Core Training doctors, participating in patient assessment, management and documentation.
• Engage in educational supervision and training activities aligned with FY2/Core Surgical Trainee year 1 standards.

Required profile

• Junior doctors interested in Core Surgical Training, general practice, radiology or undecided about their future specialty.
• Willingness to develop ENT clinical skills and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
