Junior Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Kent

About the role

Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a respected claimant team in Kent. This permanent, full‑time position offers a hybrid working model and provides the chance to develop expertise across the full lifecycle of clinical negligence claims.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior solicitors in managing clinical negligence files from initial enquiry through to settlement or trial.
• Conduct legal research, draft correspondence, witness statements and court documents.
• Liaise with clients, medical experts, counsel and other stakeholders.
• Review medical records, prepare chronologies and support case preparation for conferences, mediations and hearings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements.

Required profile

• A qualified solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) with a genuine interest in claimant clinical negligence work.
• Strong communication and client‑care abilities.
• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Motivation to build a long‑term career in this specialist area.
