Junior Customer Service / Sales Order Processing

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Junior Customer Service and Sales Order Processing specialist to join a fast‑moving team in Milton Keynes. The role supports daily business operations, acting as a bridge between customers, suppliers, internal departments and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate daily invoicing.
• Obtain and manage freight quotations, coordinating cost‑effective delivery solutions.
• Process sales orders and provide administrative support to the Managing Director and Regional Sales Manager.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sister companies to facilitate inter‑company orders.
• Support day‑to‑day office operations, maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years experience in an administrative or customer‑service role.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
