Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Telefónica Tech is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with a data‑engineering mindset to help design, build and operate modern cloud platforms on Azure. You will work closely with the Data Engineering team and client stakeholders to ensure the infrastructure is reliable, scalable and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Azure‑based modern data platform components such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory v2 and Databricks.
• Deploy Azure Landing Zones following Microsoft best‑practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers and clients to set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues and apply automation to improve efficiency.
• Support the rollout of configuration and security standards across all cloud resources.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience or academic background in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced, multi‑national environment.
