The Senior Technology Delivery Manager sits within the Chief Technology Office, overseeing delivery across several programmes and turning strategic priorities into clear, actionable outcomes. This role operates in a fast‑moving environment and supports the Home Office’s digital transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery across multiple teams and programmes.
• Manage dependencies, risks and timelines for complex workstreams.
• Translate strategic priorities into detailed, deliverable plans.
• Support governance, assurance and decision‑making processes.
• Remove blockers and keep delivery progressing efficiently.
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure outcomes are achieved.

Required profile

• Proven delivery management experience on complex technology or digital programmes.
• Hands‑on experience in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Strong ability to manage risks, dependencies and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience supporting governance and assurance in large organisations.
• Demonstrated leadership of teams to deliver results.
