Junior Electrical CAD Technician – Southampton

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Electrical CAD Technician to join a specialist electronics group in Southampton. You will work in the CAD department, reporting to the CAD Team Lead, delivering high‑quality electrical schematics and general arrangements for bespoke projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and create electrical schematics for custom projects.
• Produce general arrangement drawings to support bespoke equipment.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal departments to capture technical specifications.
• Provide occasional overtime during peak periods.

Required profile

• Electronic CAD Engineer or similar background.
• Willingness to commute to the Southampton office.
• Motivation to develop skills through specialist training.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑17:30.
