Junior Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are supporting a leading manufacturing company in Coventry and are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will involve working on electrical rotating equipment projects, producing technical documentation and supporting product development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development and enhancement of electrical rotating equipment, providing electrical design solutions.
• Prepare and maintain CAD drawings, engineering records and manufacturing documentation.
• Contribute to testing activities, analyse results and compile technical reports to support product validation.
• Support engineering investigations by carrying out equipment assessments, fault diagnosis and technical evaluations.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, service and project teams to ensure engineering activities meet quality standards, specifications and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related subject.
• Genuine interest in electrical machinery or rotating equipment and enthusiasm for developing technical expertise.
• Familiarity with CAD packages and experience producing engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
