Junior Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join the UK legal team of a market‑leading infrastructure business. This permanent, hybrid position provides a first in‑house opportunity for a solicitor with a commercial real estate focus, offering high visibility across the organisation and involvement in a fast‑paced portfolio of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high‑volume pipeline of end‑to‑end UK real estate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate a range of property documents.
• Conduct due diligence and support acquisitions across the portfolio.
• Handle Land Registry submissions, requisitions and post‑completion processes.
• Provide legal input to internal estates and development teams.
• Manage contractual relationships with third‑party operators, including licensing agreements.
• Advise on day‑to‑day property issues, operational matters and disputes.
• Support wider corporate acquisitions and asset lifecycle management.

Required profile

• UK‑qualified solicitor with up to 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate (essential).
• Experience with Land Registry processes and requisitions.
• Exposure to high‑volume transactional work.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Hands‑on mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
