Junior Protection Broker – Life Insurance & Business Protection

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Protection Broker to join our fast‑paced financial services brokerage in the City of London. In this role you will support both personal and commercial clients, helping them protect their lives, health and businesses through tailored insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection (ASU).
• Identify protection gaps and build long‑term relationships with individuals and business owners.
• Collaborate with advisers to deliver holistic financial plans.
• Design and present protection solutions for businesses, including Key Person, Shareholder/Partnership and Business Loan Protection.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 12–24 months of proven experience in protection insurance sales.
• Strong knowledge of personal protection products (Life, CIC, Income Protection/ASU).
• Understanding of business protection solutions is a plus.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities.
• Confident communicator who builds trust quickly.
• Motivated, driven and a team player.
