About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Junior Purchase Ledger Clerk based in the heart of Brighton. This temporary, full‑time position offers an early‑career professional the chance to gain hands‑on experience in a supportive finance team.
Key responsibilities
- Process high volumes of purchase invoices.
- Match, batch and code invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Assist with payment runs.
- Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal teams.
- Provide general administrative support within the finance function.
Required profile
- Early stage of a finance or accountancy career.
- Interest in developing a long‑term career in accountancy.
- Considering or working towards professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Motivation to build a strong finance foundation.
