Junior Residential Property Lawyer

About the role

A highly respected Legal 500 regional firm in Eastbourne is looking for a bright and enthusiastic Junior Residential Property Lawyer to join its supportive team. This position is ideal for a recently qualified solicitor, CILEx or CLC with around six months of experience handling residential property matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers with residential property transactions and case preparation.
• Manage a small caseload of junior residential property matters under supervision.
• Liaise with clients, conveyancers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Prepare standard legal documents, correspondence and filings with secretarial support.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to develop technical expertise.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEx or CLC with at least 6 months of residential property experience.
• Strong interest in property law and a desire to progress within a collaborative firm.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance from senior colleagues.
