Junior Sales Engineer

About the role

Sangoma is looking for a motivated Junior Sales Engineer to support its growth across the United Kingdom. You will work closely with Account Managers, Channel Managers, partners and customers to design and position Sangoma’s communications solutions, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Account Managers and Regional Channel Managers to drive customer growth and revenue expansion.
• Design and recommend solutions for customers, VARs, MSPs, agents and telecom providers.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demos, proof‑of‑concepts and solution workshops.
• Support discovery sessions to capture business requirements, infrastructure and communication challenges.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with technical documentation and solution diagrams.
• Identify upsell, cross‑sell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support and Operations teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Assist with customer onboarding and transition activities as needed.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering or technical pre‑sales.
• Experience with telecom, UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP, VoIP, networking or cloud communications solutions.
• Strong presentation and customer‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑motivated, with solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the UK region as required.
