Junior Software Developer

About the role

Join Bet365’s Player Account Management (PAM) team as a Junior Software Developer. You will work on core systems that handle transaction processing, account lifecycle, and financial flows for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support customer‑centric services built primarily in Go.
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers to deliver features using React.
• Maintain cloud‑native, open‑source based micro‑services that process high‑throughput transactions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of system reliability.
• Work closely with senior developers and business experts to solve complex technical challenges.

Required profile

• Technically minded with a strong desire to learn functional programming and distributed systems.
• Ability to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and evaluate trade‑offs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Server‑side development experience (services, messaging, middleware).
• Exposure to Go programming language.
• Exposure to front‑end development with React.
