Key Account Manager – Travel Industry

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, target‑focused Key Account Manager to join our travel organisation. You will be the primary point of contact for our key accounts, helping them grow their business and handling day‑to‑day operational enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all queries from key accounts and support colleagues covering other accounts.
• Assist new members during the early stages of membership to accelerate business growth.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide product and service information, training and guidance.
• Conduct regular membership meetings at the head office or other venues.
• Build strong relationships, resolve issues, and represent the company at events, workshops and trade shows.
• Maintain accurate records and engagement history in the CRM system.
• Deliver engaging training sessions to up‑skill members.
• Handle phone and email enquiries as part of the support team.

Required profile

• Travel industry background (retail travel experience desirable).
• Previous experience in key account management or a similar sales role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage workload and prioritize tasks.
• Commercially astute with a proven ability to meet targets.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary around £33,000 – £34,000 per year, flexible based on experience.
• Office‑based role (Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑17:30) with the option to work from home two days a month.
