Key Stage 2 Teacher – Chester Primary School

About the role

Academics is partnering with a forward‑thinking primary school in Chester to recruit a dynamic Key Stage 2 teacher. You will lead a vibrant class, inspire pupils and help them transition confidently through upper primary.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging KS2 schemes of work that develop critical thinking and problem‑solving.
• Monitor pupil data, set targets and implement timely interventions.
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with subject leads, SENCOs and support staff to meet diverse learner needs.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience as a KS2 teacher (lower or upper).
• Commitment to high learning standards and continuous professional development.
• Enhanced DBS registration (or willingness to obtain one through Academics).
