About the role
Reed Education is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Brighton. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to shape young learners’ academic journeys and contribute to a supportive, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS2 lessons that meet national curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and tailor support to help every pupil reach their potential.
- Maintain a positive, stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to enhance student outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching KS2 or a similar primary level.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
